CRYSTAL COLLIER'S MOONLESS BLOG TOUR AND GIVEAWAY

Happy Monday, friendly friends!
Today, I'm happy to introduce cheese-obsessed, author, Crystal Collier and her debut novel, Moonless. She's agreed to answer 10 fun questions and give you guys a chance to win stuff, so after reading, be sure to keep scrolling for the wonderful rafflecopter thinga-majig.

Ten Terrible Truths REVEALED

1. When did you become obsessed with cheese?

Um, the day I was born. No, seriously, it’s a family infection.

2. Craziest thing you’ve ever done? (change names to protect the innocent if necessary)

Moved to NYC 8 months prego with two little kids, no family local, and a barely-keep-you-from-starving job for my hubby.

3. One selfish wish…what would it be?

A time stopper. I have death-inducingly long TBR list.

4. Do you believe in ghosts?

*shifty eyes* The real question is, *leaning in and whispering* do they believe in me?

5. Favorite actor—who’s your fantasy man?

*gulp* Brad Pitt? –But really, I don’t form fantasy crushes…much. I’m seriously infatuated with my husband.

6. Do you have any weird habits?

Like eating too much cheese? I might be (AM) addicted to blogging. Shoving my glasses back up my nose bridge… (Because I deal with allergies here in FL, and contacts are NOT an option.)

7. When you write, do you have to have a particular setup, or do you just write anywhere, anytime?

As long as there’s a plate of cheese next to me, I’m good to go. Oh, and a computer. I ADORE pencils and pens, but I’m not sure I know how to use them anymore.

8. Dream vacation?

I don’t do vacations. I moved places, get to know the culture, then move on. That said, I’d LOVE to go to India.

9. Most embarrassing moment?

I don’t really have one of these. Lots of little moments when I said something then felt like slapping a hand over my own mouth, and proceeded to deftly inserted my own foot further into my throat.

10. Favorite song?

Bwa-ha-ha-ha! Yes? You know I’m a composer, right? Music is life.

Crystal Collier, author of MOONLESS, is a former composer/writer for Black Diamond Productions. She can be found practicing her brother-induced ninja skills while teaching children or madly typing about fantastic and impossible creatures. She has lived from coast to coast and now calls Florida home with her creative husband, three littles, and “friend” (a.k.a. the zombie locked in her closet). Secretly, she dreams of world domination and a bottomless supply of cheese.

You can find her on her blog and Facebook, or follow her on Twitter.

Wow, Crystal's even more amazing than I suspected! I hope you guys enjoyed her visit, and I encourage you all to click on her links, below, to learn more about Moonless and snatch up a copy!

WE'RE ROCKTASTIC!!!!!

Hey Peeps,

Happy Tuesday!

Just wanted to check on you guys and your muses. Mine went MIA on me, but has returned with fireworks!!! Yay!!!On that note, I sort of had a revelation: we writers are freaking awesome with rainbow sprinkles on top!!!

Don't get me wrong, I also recognize we're a bizarre bunch, but our minds should be coveted. Think about it. Where others see a storm cloud, a broken vase, or a light shining in a vacant house, (corny examples, but you get the point) we see a world that most are too afraid to explore. But, not us. Not only do we explore, we create and conquer parallel universes. Entire galaxies are birthed in our turbulent minds, and all the while, we appear as ordinary as the next person. If only they knew the thoughts inside our heads. They would weep with envy.

Thank God we're not them--those one dimensional people who see the world in black and white. No, we are exquisite master pieces, put on this planet to beckon and beguile the masses with our words. We're risk takers, believers in the impossible, and by golly, we still believe in fairytale endings. It's our beautiful minds that allow us to do so.

If any of you woke up feeling like crap today, dust yourself off, put your fingers on your keyboard, and shock the world with your amazing gifts.

Until next time, happy writing or whatever makes you smile. :)

IN CASE YOU DON'T KNOW

Hey guys,

So, maybe today's post is a sign of how lacking I am in interesting topics, or maybe it's a testament to my bizarre sense of humor. (which is slightly obnoxious at times)

At any rate, I thought we could all use a few laughs on this fine Sunday, and since I stayed up until 2 in the a.m., writing, I needed a post that required very little thinking, so without further ado, scroll down for a few hilarious YouTube clips.

Just makes you want to rush out and buy a bottle, right? :D

Here's to good feeling bottoms! :D

No matter how many times I watch this, it's still makes me LOL. :D

And last, but not least, Stuart!!!!!! I have no words for this one. :D

Happy Sunday, and until next time, happy writing or whatever makes you smile. :)
